The wedding is in Villa Del Balbianello which is easily accessible from the town of Lenno. We recommend staying here because the boat from the wedding venue will drop guests off in Lenno at the end of the wedding. There are many hotels, but I prefer the Airbnbs.
Most likely, you’ll be flying into Milan airport. The train will take you into Lake Como followed by a bus/ferry to your town. We’ve taken the bus with no issue. Alternatively, you can rent a car from the airport but summertime parking at Lake Como can be tricky.

We strongly recommend searching for AirBnb style apartments near the town of Lenno. The wedding will be held at the Villa del Balbianello which is just outside Lenno and is accessible by water taxi.
The wedding will be held at the town of Lenno. It’s strongly recommended to find lodging at Lenno or a town nearby. Como can be reached by train from Milan, or you can rent a car from the Airport. If traveling by train, you can reach Lenno via bus or by water taxi. There is a water taxi terminal in Lenno. The other option would be to rent a taxi from the city of Como to Lenno, although that’s a more expensive option.
Be sure to check the Water Taxi website and study the time tables to get an idea of how to travel.
